A half day orientation programme was held for the staff of 4 of our Jesuit institutions of Khanapur mission, namely:- 1. St.Pauls High School, 2. Milagres Primary School, 3.St. Xaviers,ITI ,Khanapur and 4. St.Pauls Primary school, Sangargallli. 32 staff attended the programme. Fr Kustas welcomed the gathering. Highlights of the event were :- 1.Fr. Roland, Our Provincial, conducted a session on the following topics:- a. Education for faith.. Deep relationship with the divine. b. Education for depth.. Formation of the whole person and integral formation. c. Education for reconciliation and d. Education for global citizen. 2. Fr Denzil conducted a session on Ignatian Pedagogy. 3. Fr. Shawn and Fr. Solon conducted a session on "The qualities of a teacher" through games and interactive sessions. 4 Fr Cedric at the end summarised the morning's programme by emphasising on "Teachers can make a difference" and "Team work". 5. Fr. Ankush proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was followed by a fellowship meal & Fr.Benito blessed the meals with a prayer. The orientation programme was co-ordinated by Frs Kustas and Cedric.
The programme was enjoyed by the staff who participated.
